Singapore Trip last mth

I have never been to S'pore. Yes, it was my 1st time. Wasn't the easiest trip with Jeffrey on the way there and taking buses. OMG!! so many buses changes in btwn the Malaysia Immigration and S'pore Immigration and escalators taking up to be where I was supposed to be. And forms to fill up with Jeffrey running loose. I was flustered!

Get tru' the Woodland and took another bus to go to downtown. Unfortunately stuck in a really bad traffic jam for more than 1 hr and only got to Queen around 1.30pm or something if I am not mistaken. Lebih kurang lah.
Liza Quddoos and her Mom, which is why the reason I was taking this trip was there to pick us up at the bus station in Queens St. We headed straight to Botanic Garden to have lunch. Really good Hokkien Mee and S'pore Laksa. Jeffrey was eating fries and Milo ice of 'coz. We were planning to take a walk in the beautiful garden, but the rain beat us to it. So tak jadi lah. We left in a very heavy rain and just driving around seeing the city.

What a blessing rain for me I guess huh? 1st time in the Lion City!!! lol
Anyway, during the driving and picture taking when can and when the rain a bit slow down, I realised they have lots of places to eat and really admired that they have lots of trees in the city still. bravo!! Go Green!

We stopped by the roads and took pictures when can and very fast!! Can u imagine, I pretty much took a city tour and being everywhere in about 3 hrs!! lol...Record man! Liza pulled by the roadside, me and Jeffrey were out and started taking picture and he come back to the car and go to the next stop or landmarks. We also g to Raffles Hotel and took a picture with the doormans and their dolls after that too. Cute!

Thanks so much Liza and makcik for bringing me around eventhough we had some short time together. But at least I made it!!! Just for u guys and seeing Makcik well eventhough she is undergoing some! Thanks for the love gifts for Jeffrey and me too. Lova ya!!

What's with the balls????

Jeffrey has a fascinating with balls. Cannot see balls. Want it right there and then. Especially if he sees that machine coins with balls. Aiyoyo!! will make a scene if he doesn't get it!! He loves ball frm the longest time I can remember and it's one of his 1st words.

The problem is sometimes those ball machine is out of order and I cannot get it for him and he will just don't get it. And with all the balls that he got, its missing and everywhere in the house.

Still he wants more...and more...and more balls. At least u know what to get him close to u huh?

Our trip to KL, Melaka & JB

Sorry that it took a while for me to write about my trip recently back to KL. It was fun yet very long I feel. It’s different now that I got adjusted to Omaha as my HOME and visiting family in Malaysia for 1 mth seems long. The weather was too hot for the 1st 2.5 weeks, then it rain almost everyday after that. Make it so much harder to go out and enjoy the cities.

But of course it was still fun seeing everybody, especially my newest family members…my grand niece Qasih and nephews Miqdat and Rayyan. Such a pleasure. I’m sure they won’t know me by the time I visit them again the next time, but sure they will hear about us a lot hopefully.

Visiting there is different now, without my Mom, since she passed, things are very different and the family seems to be a bit on the edge with issues surrounding us. Not sure how the family will stay close anymore, almost everybody have issues to each other and they are not as close as they used to be. Indeed they took the issues sometimes too personal and never let go what happenned ; just forgive and forget. Why it is so hard to do? Isn’t it sunnah to forgive someone? After all, we are family right? Why holding the grudge to each other and treat others like strangers and saying things that will hurt someone’s feeling. ‘Ikutkan hati mati, ikutkan mulut binasa’

I know most of the time, things are not reported to me and when I come back, I will be overwhelming with family issues, it’s never fun and being me that hate to be on either side and doing my best to be equal to everyone, it’s just too much to handle sometimes.

Well… anyway I hope the family will figure it out soon. As for me, I consider myself lucky to be away frm situation like this most time. I have my own life here and pretty happy with it. My home, family and my home business. Loving my own independent for sure….as usual.

While I was there, and have to depends on family to take me to places, it was really had to rely on them even when I don’t want to, but leaving me with no choice. I know sometimes I really menyusahkan mereka, but I appreciate it very much that they help accommodating me and taking me to places I need to go. When the independence is taking away frm me, I feel a bit unhappy that I have to be dependent on friends and family. It’s not a nice place to be and sometime I feel unwanted. Would you blame me? And some of them not that sensitive to these issues.

It was a highly stress trip to begin with, travelling with just me and Jeffrey, have to find babysitter for 1 week during my business conference, have to ask people to give me a ride and pick me up and staying with them. Not sure I would do this again without the presence of my husband.

I pretty much meet almost all my family I would say, I didn’t manage to see Amie, Ira & Oboi. But I hope they forgive me. I tried, but they time is conflicting with mine and I do not have time to manage around it. I was really busy especially the last week I was there.
The purpose of this trip is also to spend time with my friends. I didn’t manage to see everyone I wanted too, but I would like to thank you for those who made the time to see me. Very much appreciated. I understand that it’s hard to spare some time for me when everyone is bz working and with their family. For my best friend and business partner Bai & family, thank you so much for seeing us many times we were they and spent the time with me and Jeffrey. That means a lot babe. Love u! But I still miss that Masak Lomak Daging Salai lah….kau post ker lah…lol.

For those who met me at my Handbag sale event in KL, I thank you so much for coming that day during a heavy rain pour and heavy traffic jam. It was nice to meet you all.

For my brother Dali, thanks for picking us up at the airport and sending us back and let us stay with you for one week. I hope you enjoy Jeffrey presence. Thanks also to Kak Jah for accommodating and cook for us as well and follow me shopping at Jln TAR.

For my brother Lakhbir, thank you for coming to see us at the hotel the 1st week when we arrived eventhough for just a moment. Glad to see Fara and Fairuz too. And again came and see us the last weekend we were they and taking us to Central Market.

For my brother Gapoor, thanks so much for accommodating my request to cook dinner for us. That kampong food was delicious as usual!! Sorry that I couldn’t stay with you guys…tapi mana nak duduk lah?…faham2 jer.

For my sister Bibi, thank you for cooking for me daily in Melaka. That was yummy and I will miss it very much. Also enjoyed playing with the new grand babies of yours. For my sister Bibah who help and accommodating me a lot during this trip, picking me up and sending me somewhere, I greatly appreciate it. Thanks for letting us staying with you too. Really enjoyed the stay there and Jeffrey really had a blast with Mak Long and Mak Ibah and running around berkaki ayam sometimes everywhere with Ika,Sara and Mardiah.

To my nieces and nephews everywhere….thanks so much!!! And wish we had more times together, but you all very bz lah…. To Aja and Jira, thanks for taking care of Jeffrey for a few days in the hotel in KL while Busu going to meetings and events.

For my sister Liza, thanks for accommodating me in Tehel and cook for me. Glad we spent the night with you and the family. Anis,Aina and Emeer is growing up fast! Jgn lupa hantar my baju kurung nanti tau?

For my sister Melah and brother Melan in Kulai, thanks for accommodating us there as well. Enjoyed the time I spent with you. Wish we had more time to spent…since you are working lah. I wish you good luck with kenduri kawin Asmadi nanti. Sorry we couldn’t be there but hope the gift will help a little. Abg Melan, thanks for the drugs….for my itchy skin, can be comfortable with you guys without it…thank God!

For my sis in law Maznah, thanks so much for letting us stay with you in Kulai and bringing and sending us to places. Especially sending us to bus station to S’pore and Melaka. Thanks also for bringing us out for dinner at Kpg Melayu and cook chocolate cake for us. Hope we don’t menyusahkan sangat. Please let Abg Moktar know how we enjoyed our stay with you when he come back next week. We missed him too!! But we’ll catch him on webcam line!

For my cousins in Masai, thanks so much for organising that gathering and cook for me. I’ve enjoyed meeting with you all again and thanks for teaching my son Pocho…Pocho!! Wakakakaka!! Sorry that I couldn’t stay that long. Have to go to S’pore lah in the morning.

Emmm…do I leave out anyone? Forgive me if I do….but I am thanking everyone who have seen us and helping cooking for us tru’ out our trip. Very much appreciated!
