What a Weekend....

So, here's the update of what we've been doing lately. Jeffrey and I decided to leave Daddy for a few days as Daddy is extremely bz with work and we headed to Waterloo,IA and then joining Win & Nazry for a shopping trip to Chicago last weekend. The Easter Wknd.

On the way to Waterloo, the van's engine light come on while we were still in Nebraska's highway. But I decided to continue with the trip anyhow. We got there as expected despite the feeling of worried, I was praying along the road that nothing with happen to us or the van. When we got in Waterloo, me and Nazry brought the van for a check-up diagnosis and it turn out that something with the transmission issue. The Torque converter or something like that. Anyway, I decided not to fix the problem there and will fix it when I'm back in Omaha.

Well, let's hear about our trip to Chicago will you? We got there when the area was still snowing a little bit, but not bad as it has passed on a few hrs I think. The hotel room was really nice. Love it! Especially for the price that we paid for 1 nite!! $50 a nite. 30 mins frm Chicago downtown though. But we didn't go to downtown at all. Our initial plan is actually shopping at the edge of Chicago Premium Outlet in Aurora and go shopping to Ikea. So that's what we did......ALL ABOUT THE SHOPPING DAYS!! Spent quit a bit of money for potential selling handbags back in Kuala Lumpur for our trip this July. :)

The trip without Mahesh is really hard on me. Jeffrey was so clingy and not to be left with my friend at all. He will just scream and freak out. So didn't really have a relaxing time as intended. But overall, still a GREAT TRIP!! He had fun in the room too eventhough fell off bed one night and fell frm the work chair as well. Boys...will always be boys.. ;(

Thank you so much to Win and Nazry for helping out and making this happened. Love you guys!! Poor Nazry have to help me carry the bags all the time for check-in and out as Jeffrey doesn't even give me the chance to do that. I owe you Nazry!!

I hosted a so called suprise party with a few friends as one of our friend is moving to Ohio. sob...sob....here's going another one...huaaaa!!! anyway, it was a fun girl party plus suprise 1st birthday party for Bushra too....the baby gilr in the photos...u'll see...pretty obvious ..;)

Good Luck at your new place soon Asma....i know it won't be until a few mths later....but it's a lot of work still.....let us know if u need help.

Backyard Adventure

I haven't write for 2 weeks!!! oh dear!!! Sorry, been so bz and pc was giving me a hard time and sent for repair. Have to send back again as there are still giving me the same problem ....grrrrrrr!!
Anyway, here's some updates....

Jeffrey was just happy to run around for the 1st time after a loooong winter. The sun is finally out! Hope the snow will be no more. This happened a few days ago. When it was 60+ C outside.....hooooo whooo!! but it's cold again now.....when is this winter gonna pass???

It was funny to see him fall on the grass and hate to touch it, therefore can't get up by himself. I'll put up a video of that soon.
