Ralph served with the Navy SeaBees during WWII.
Survived include his wife, Ruth of Lee's Summit, MO; children, Sharon Maynard of Omaha; Karen (Lilchandra) Sookram, Lincoln, NE; Rex (Kathy) Beatty, of Auburn, NE; James (Barbara) Beatty, Lee's Summit, MO; 7 grandchildren; 6 great-grand-children; brothers David Beatty of Vail, AZ, Cecil Beatty, Tucson, AZ, Carol Beatty, Peru, NE; sister Lois Eller, Simi Valley, CA; other relatives and friends.
It was sad....he was almost 88 yrs old next week. But he is in a better place and doesn't have to suffer anymore as his physical was starting to fail on him.
He was actually the only Grandpa that I really known and spent time with.Love his bigand very strong hugs and will missed that for sure.
