Right now everyone in this neghbourhood are busy cleaning up....tones of things to do before our trip.....oh dear...huaaa!!!

Got a really bad weather with with gust and cause a lot of damaged. Luckily we survive and not much damages except for some mess around the house....can't go out much yet...still under warning..

I was planning to go out earlier but decided not too..THANK GOD!! For some reason we were about to get out the door, but I didn't feel like it and I listened to my heart!!

It happened so fast...one moment we were out and came in for a drink and suddenly the siren go on and 3 mins later...THIS!! never see such a thing happen like this fast and changed so fast. The lights go on and off a few times.

Father's Day Weekend

Jeffrey only eat corn that day...about 2 corns i believe....all gone!!

We got everyone together last week instead an had a BBQ dinner. Grandma made the cake and I did the cooking lah.....Grandpa opened his gifts and cards after that.

As for Daddy, we took him out for lunch last week at Sushi'splace and shopping for sport shoes

Got this piece at garage sale for $5.....refinishing project cost is $0 as using the leftover spray paint from the last projects.

Now it's looking like this with additional stuffs and adding river rocks. Thanks to my neighbour Byran for helping up in picking up and loading the river rocks.

Now nice and clean and can see the house better too!

We were so bored stuck in the basement for so many hours due to the tornado warnings and sirens, so we make our own entertainment while watching tv of the latest weather forecast updates.

We have to wake up last night around 2am after hearing the 1st siren and went to the basement for cover. Took Jeffrey out frm his sleep and woke Mahesh up. Heavy rain, light and thunder...not to mention the wind. But it wasn't that bad to us compare to some of the people in our city. The small tornado hit a little and damaged about 20-30 houses. Quit severe i must say since I got here actually. But luckily, no one dies frm it. The siren in my neigborhood was played 3 times last night. That was the 1st this season.





I know that the weather are up to something when it was so very hot and extremely windy yesterday and suddenly heavy rain by the end of the day. Then, no wind...just pure calm in the air...spooky really..

After 3am...we tried go bak to sleep when the tornado warning was past, but Jeffrey was very cranky and doesn't want to sleep. He seems to be in pain somehow and hate the dark. So i gave him his milk and a dose of tylenol and after the crankiness, he slept finally...all of us till 9am!!

He turned 21 moths a week ago. Mommy just too occupied and bz lah. Anyway, we are getting ready to go for our trip to back visit Malaysia and Bali,Indonesia. Yippie!! can't wait. Mommy bz packing and buying all medications to bring with us as well.

Today Jeffrey started said 'Juice' in Walmart. I guess he was so thirsty that he started saying it and repeat after me when he sign me that he wanted water. I told him we will get juice soon and he can have it later...and then...he said it...'Juice' just like that...doesn't sounds exactly....but very close for sure

He also did his 1st Artwork today...YEAH!!!! Last nite, he was feverish a little and today Mommy was a bit under the weather, drowsy and itchy throat that resulted some coughing at night. No fun...season allergy.

But Jeffrey iss such a GREAT and BRAVE boy, he normally will take his meds without any hussle and just open his mouth and swallow. I'm so lucky!!
