Dear families and friends,
It’s been a happy and sad year for us in 2008. So many great memories made and sad memories happened.
Let’s start with a happy note first. Jeffrey as usual, is having a great year. He is a world traveler at the age of 2. He officially go around the world in the last trip we went to Malaysia. Have his first touch on the sand and sea water there. It was exciting seeing the other part of the family in Malaysia as always. We also had a short vacation in Kuala Lumpur and Bali, Indonesia for only 2 weeks. It was lovely in Bali, we spent a lot of the time rejuvenate in the swimming pool and let Jeffrey played in the water a lot. We needed that vacation and it was perfect.

Just enough to see everybody, but not enough to taste all that yummy food for 24 hrs 7 days a week L .Jeffrey starts talking a lot more words now and has his tantrums too sometimes…what else, ‘terrible two’ they said and I heard ‘3’ is even going to be worst. Oh dear! But he is always as cheerful and charming as he can be and cannot live without ‘The Wiggles’ dvd movies; in the car and at home too.
Mahesh is doing well at work as a Software Developer/Engineer, even though there is up and down of time that he has to spend away from us. But it seems that his work now is more stabile. He always enjoyed what he is doing at Gallup. It’s a great place to work for him. And next year I heard he will have his new office in the new office building…yippie for Daddy!!!
As for Mommy, this year is been real busy socializing and having a side internet business, Yes….handbags business all the way in Malaysia. Small side business but making her busy shopping for items at all time everywhere she goes. Doing what she likes at her own sweet time.

Wish her luck for this to success more so we can travel back to Malaysia often.
On the sad note, we lost Vijay, our beloved brother and Uncle to Jeffrey very suddenly this year. He had a brain seizure while he was sleeping resulted from his previous medical situation from accident a few years ago. We missed him so much and part of us is still in denial about losing him. But we believe that he is in a better place and at peace. God bless you Vijay and we always miss you every time we thinking about you. It’s very hard on Mom and Dad and definitely on Mahesh. Losing someone very close is very hard to deal with and sometimes, we don’t even want to deal with it sometimes. But eventually, we will make peace with losing him in our life, just pray that everything will be ok and at peace for us too please.

With this, we are wishing you a Merry Christmas, Happy Holiday and Happy New Year!! And hope that this year has been a great year for you and hopefully this coming New Year 2009 will be more exciting and more adventurous for all of us.

See you next year!
Love,
Ellie,Mahesh & Jeffrey Sookram
